Revealing Four Subpopulations of Binary Black-Hole Mergers with the Fifth Gravitational-Wave Transient Catalog

Gravitational-wave data are beginning to reveal a structured landscape of black-hole masses and spins, suggesting multiple formation processes are now being resolved observationally.
