Density turbulence in the heliosphere can impact traversing radio photons originating from anywhere in the universe, leading to distortions of both the spectroscopic and imaging properties of the radio sources. Extra-solar radio sources exhibit scintillation and angular broadening, while monochromatic signals from spacecraft are spectrally broadened.
