Abstract

The wide-field X-ray telescope (WXT) is the primary payload of the Einstein Probe (EP) mission. Utilizing innovative lobster-eye micro-pore optics (MPO), it achieves an unprecedented combination of a large instantaneous field-of-view (FoV) and high detection sensitivity.
