Recent high spatial and temporal resolution extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) imaging observations have revealed that quasi-periodic pulsations (QPPs), a ubiquitous signature of impulsive energy release in solar and stellar flares, are also present in much smaller-scale coronal events known as EUV brightenings.
