Beyond Spin: QCD Magnetars

Abstract

We present a unified framework in which anomalous X-ray pulsars (AXPs), soft gamma-ray repeaters (SGRs), superluminous supernovae (SLSNe-I), luminous fast blue optical transients (LFBOTs), and fast radio bursts (FRBs) originate from quark deconfinement in the core of a massive neutron star (NS).
