Tracing luminous infrared galaxy populations through cluster evolution in a cosmological mock redshift survey

Abstract

We present GARDENS-Wide, a new 100 square degree mock redshift survey of the dusty star-forming galaxy population based on the MultiDark-Planck 2 dark-matter halo simulation. The mock reproduces observed multiwavelength number counts at 500 $μ$m, 1.1, 1.4 and 2.0 mm. The large simulated area enables us to identify gravitationally bound systems, trace their assembly histories, and quantify the redshift evolution of their galaxy content and structural extent.
