Modeling the technical specifications for future multi-object spectroscopy instrumentation

Abstract

We investigate a proof-of-concept code designed to model the functionality of current generation astronomical fiber positioner instruments. This code accommodates an arbitrary number of fiber probes and astronomical targets.
