Abstract

Direct imaging of exoplanets from the ground remains fundamentally limited by fast-evolving post-adaptive optics (AO) residual wavefront errors, and by quasi-static speckles arising from non-common path aberrations (NCPAs) downstream of the AO wavefront sensor.
