Reconciling Galactic rotation curve constraints with stellar stream modeling

Abstract

Recent Gaia-based measurements of the Milky Way rotation curve and stellar-stream modeling give significantly different estimates of the Galactic dynamical mass beyond Galactocentric radii of 15 kpc.
