Lightweight Soft X-ray Imager (LSXI) with glass-based coded mask

Abstract

The coded mask technique has been widely used in X-ray and Gamma-ray imagers, especially in space astronomy. However, the traditional design of coded mask imagers usually has problems with large size and heavy weight.
