Abstract

Recent discoveries of isolated dwarf galaxies (${M}_{\star}\sim 10^{7-9}~{\rm M}_{\odot}$) with no signs of ongoing star formation have challenged the prevailing notion that these solitary systems are exclusively star-forming. Investigating the origins of isolated quenched dwarfs provides important clues into the dominant processes driving galaxy quenching as a function of environment and stellar mass.
