Integration of the NIST Spectroscopic Plate Archive into the Harvard Plate Stacks

Abstract

For many decades, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Atomic Spectroscopy Group housed a growing collection of thousands of photographic glass plate negatives. With the closure of the NIST Atomic Spectroscopy Group in March 2025, the irreplaceable collection needed a new home.
