Multigroup Implicit Monte Carlo Radiation Hydrodynamics on Moving Voronoi Meshes with STORM and RICH

Abstract

We present and validate an Implicit Monte Carlo (IMC) radiation-transport solver in the open-source, mesh-agnostic storm library, coupled to the moving-mesh hydrodynamics code rich in three-dimensional Voronoi tessellations.
