A Multipole Technique for the Simulation and Analysis of Gravitational Waveforms from Extreme Mass Ratio Inspirals

Abstract

We introduce EMRICode, a Python-based numerical framework for evolving generic extreme mass-ratio inspirals (EMRIs) in Kerr spacetime. The code combines adaptive numerical integration of test-particle geodesics with a prescribed model for the secular evolution of the orbital constants of motion, allowing eccentric and inclined trajectories to be followed over long inspiral timescales.
