Abstract

Adaptive mesh refinement (AMR) is widely used in large-scale astrophysical simulations, but the resulting multilevel data are challenging to analyze quantitatively. We present simesh, an independent Python framework for quantitative analysis of cell-centered fields on block-structured AMR meshes.
