UNIONS: Red and blue alignments of DESI DR1 galaxies

Abstract

Intrinsic alignments (IA) of galaxies are a dominant source of systematics in weak-lensing cosmological analyses, and direct measurements on spectroscopic samples are the primary source of priors on their amplitude.
